Each fall, around 1,500 students who started their degree programs at one of Ohio State’s regional campuses move to the Columbus campus to complete their course work. Additionally, several hundred more make the switch in spring and summer terms.
Because we know that the transition to the Columbus campus can be a bit complicated, this website serves as a clearinghouse of answers to common questions and helpful resources.
At Ohio State, we place special emphasis on each student’s first year. Through research and our own experience, we know that foundations built during this year are key to a student’s success and, ultimately, graduation. To that end, we hope to help students maximize their first year on the Columbus campus by getting comfortable on campus, connecting with resources and starting to think of Ohio State and Columbus as home.
